Often an architect's clients have difficulty envisioning the transformation of a project from architectural drawings. And sometimes site conditions for a project are such that more art is necessary to effectively communicate its challenges and opportunities. And on-going photographic documentation of a project provides a visual record of changing conditions, framing, infrastructure, utility locations, wet lands and invasive species, and before-and-after conditions. When a simple point-and-shoot still photo series won't do, architects can turn to Stockbridge Epstein Design.
Principal Dawn Epstein helps architects, project managers, and landscape designers: effectively and evocatively photograph site conditions; create client presentation materials and project mockups; document construction and installation progress; and, develop illustrative works for publication.
Dawn brings a designer's eye and project manager's experience to her photography, providing a trustworthy option for augmenting or outsourcing the photographic and illustrative needs of small to mid-size architectural firms. She listens to client and designer goals, reads and discusses plans, and then photographs with a particular sensitivity to the unique characteristics of the project, installation, and location. Experienced AutoCad and Solidworks designer. Trained at the Landscape Institute of Harvard & BAC. Project manager on residential landscape and construction projects of various complexity and cost.
