I began my love of photography in high school MANY years ago. That love has continued over the years through many cameras and efforts to capture the beauty around me and the events that were special at the time. Unfortunately, my professional duties as a university academic administrator, president and chancellor for almost forty years prevented me from devoting the attention I desired to my love of photographic expression. I finally have retired and now have the time to enjoy my longstanding passion for photography.
I have enjoyed the many classes needed to provide the solid theoretical and technical background essential to understanding what makes for good photography. Multiple visits to Photoshop World and MacWorld have been particularly helpful in this learning process. The opportunity to participate in field trips with and learn from some of the world's best photographers has been especially meaningful. Similarly, classes at the University of North Florida and extensive on-line instruction also have provided exposure to creative photography techniques and the latest post-production software that can enhance the photographer's workflow and end results.
I look forward to many more opportunities to pursue this passion and share my work with YOU!!
