Bob Ness bought his first camera following his junior year in college and he carried one with him wherever he went thereafter. His graduate work in communication included studies in film and television, but his passion became still photography, particularly with the advent of digital photography. He made the transition from serious hobbyist to commercial photographer in 2007. Credits include cover shots on Classic Country Life and NHtoDo magazines, advertising, including billboards in the Wolfeboro, NH area, and representation on local websites. Print and notecards bearing his images also appear in shops in Wolfeboro. The subjects of his current work come from the local area around Wolfeboro and occasional photo safaris around New England.
