Once upon a time, in a farmhouse on the edge of small town Ohio, there lived a girl....
Photojournalist and fine art photographer Erin Pence grew up with a love for art. With her mom a painter, her sister a floral designer, and her brother a photographer, she didn't have a fighting chance to be anything other than an artist.
After receiving her B.A. in Communication from Wittenberg University in 2004, she spent a summer freelancing before taking an internship at the Sidney Daily News in December of 2004. In March of 2005, she was named Chief Photographer of the Sidney Daily News, in Sidney, Ohio, where she spent four years as a photojournalist. In November of 2008, Erin returned to her alma mater, where she serves the Wittenberg community as their University Photographer. She currently lives in Springfield, Ohio, but travels to that farmhouse on the edge of Anna, Ohio on a regular basis.
